Keeping your pet gear in order

If you own a pet, you no doubt own a lot of gear related to your pet. For example, if you own a horse, then you probably own tack gear, brushes, blankets, and all manner of related items such as grooming gear, feed and treats, and clothing for horse riding. A dog owner might own dog toys, dog treats, leashes and harnesses, doggy tooth brushes and brushes, and so on. A cat owner probably has all manner of scratching posts and cat toys lurking about, while a fish owner will have all sorts of fish paraphernalia, such as tank cleaning equipment, tank toys, aeration devices, and so on.
There’s no doubt about it: if you own a pet, then you have a need for storage space for all of your pet’s toys, gadgets, and gizmos. Keeping your pet’s things in order is essential if you want to maintain an orderly house, and if you want to make sure that you can easily access the equipment that you need when you want to.
When organising storage space for your pets, try to organise your storage containers or compartments based on the type of equipment, as well as the frequency with which it’s used. It’s also a good idea to make sure that your equipment is easily accessible. For example, put dog treats and dog food somewhere that’s close to your dog’s feed bowl, and make sure that your dog’s leash can be easily found whenever you want to go for a walk. Items that are less frequently used can be put away out of sight. However, for these items, it’s a great idea to label your storage boxes, as this way you’ll easily be able to tell what’s inside a given box–this may be helpful if you only use the equipment inside once or twice a year.
